BONGIO FINISHES
We only choose what can be proven
Today the world of finishes is characterised by very broad communication, often spectacular, but not always supported by verifiable technical data.
For this reason Bongio has made a precise and responsible choice: among the over 45 finishes available, we offer only technically demonstrable solutions.
All our finishes comply with the Bongio Production Method, maintained faithful over time with more than 90 years of experience in the industry, managed internally to guarantee control of every phase of the production cycle and maximum flexibility in deliveries.
A flexible and fast production capacity is another value of our company: an in-house production that aims to bring your desires to life with speed and precision.
Steel
Inox316 stainless steel delivers high performance under every condition of use. Its properties make it resistant to the chemicals used for cleaning and to corrosion caused by external agents. Inox316 brushed stainless steel taps are particularly suited to everyday environments that involve intensive use or outdoor spaces exposed to precipitation, atmospheric pollution and salt air.
Painted
Bongio epoxy paints are not a casual aesthetic choice, but a precise technical decision, linked to the environments for which our collections are designed. Coatings compliant with European regulations, free from TGIC and lead, guarantee a continuous protective barrier, excellent resistance to humidity and detergents, stability and uniformity over time. Bongio also uses Qualicoat-certified painting (Class 1 or 2), with specific extensions for more demanding environments. The Wet & Wild range finishes represent a concrete example of our approach: MED-certified paints (Marine Equipment Directive – 2014/90/EU), a higher level of control appreciated in contract and shipbuilding contexts. Finishes such as Dark Gold, Copper and Grafite combine unique textural characteristics with high resistance even in outdoor environments.
Galvanics
At Bongio, galvanic finishing is not an aesthetic detail, but a structural protection for the product. The resistance, unlike other finishes, is verifiable thanks to the deposit thicknesses. We use high-quality galvanic processes, with thicknesses above market standards, controlled production cycles and compliance with the main international regulations. Our galvanic finishes are testable according to recognised standards: a concrete value that distinguishes us in the faucet finishing landscape. 50 years of excellence in metal finishing: the art of coating material with 24 Kt gold and other precious metals.
Satin & Textural Effects
Our satin finishes and textural effects draw on the ancient methods of manual craftsmanship, evolved with contemporary technologies. Soft-touch surfaces that balance craftsmanship and stylistic innovation, for products with a textural character and sophisticated aesthetics. Finishes designed for those seeking a tactile and distinctive alternative to traditional glossy surfaces.
PVD
Available only on request for projects
PVD in faucets: real technology, without mythology. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is scratch-resistant, but it is not indestructible as often told online. It is not better than everything: it is one of the possible solutions among the many available at Bongio. To guarantee maximum performance, Bongio has chosen to produce the PVD range exclusively for projects and only on a stainless steel base, with standard colours selected for reliability and aesthetic yield.
The Bongio Method
Only what can be proven
Not all finishes are certified. Not all are demonstrable. Bongio only chooses what can be proven, certified and maintained over time.
